Pre-assembled Envelopes
The advantage of using pre-made envelopes is that it is possible to print small quantities relatively inexpensively. The disadvantage is that there are inherent difficulties in printing pre-made envelopes. The diagram below illustrates the problems. Firstly, it is not possible to print closer than 10mm from the edge. Secondly, printing across different thicknesses is not successful. The design requirements for successful pre-made envelope printing are:
Allow at least 10mm on all sides as a non printing border. Please enquire for print areas of each envelope.
Print in areas of constant paper thickness - i.e. do not have a block of print running across a thickness change.
